In Time

The Time Line...

in my own lines and in no regard to any lies or any ones lines I define my time line...it’s the time frame set for a particular planned event to occur in my life ( trueloves dictionary)

I have had many plans with numerous time lines, as a young girl I set a time line on beauty (I said when I was 18 I would be beautiful like my neighbor then brume, she was a vision to be hold when I was 11.) I wanted to be as tall, dress chique, not the nightmare frocks my mum but second rate. I wanted to define my style and command presence I achieved that at 20ish...

Then in university with all the distractions, calculus, design of structures, hydraulics etc the timeline was set to graduate with my mates which I did.

in 300level the marriage idea popped in my head and I set a timeline to get married at 28, because at that age I assumed I would have a fantastic job, financial freedom and the right mind set to pick a mate... don’t ask me how old I am now !!!! I would need to pull an aunty Mary (like in hustle) to achieve this.

Then last year I wrote a three year plan, mostly with professional certification and professional goals. The time line is 2013...only God knows if I will achieve them all.

From Wikipedia: A timeline is a project artifact. It is typically a graphic design showing a long bar labeled with dates alongside itself and (usually) events labeled on points where they would have happened. It is used to show events along a period of time.

In life, the time line is flexible because our whole life is guided by a higher power (look how the rain falls, there must be a God somewhere) that’s why I could read at age 5 and my brother learnt at age 11.

The time line I set for myself in February put me under pressure and at some point, I felt as if the whole world was crumbling down until I remembered a word "be anxious for nothing but in everything thing with prayer and supplication, with thanksgiving let your request be made known to the lord and the peace of God which surpasses understanding will set your heart and mind at peace.” so , I relaxed but last week I was under the same amount of pressure because of another time line set by a scholarship board, but I made the time line or dead line.

All in line, I say my fellow compatriots, be brave, and have hope! It’s not over till it’s over. Time line or not, we are here and our dreams live, as long as we do.

So go ahead set a Time Line because * he who fails to plan, plans to fail* but do your best and I trust it will all fall through in time.

Twitter and i..

When I first discovered #twitter I totally believed it was boring and I forgot about it. After a while I met a guy @vincezo he’s a tweet lord has a 1000 plus followers , he was always on his bb tweeting away at the time I felt angered by this. So I decided to start tweeting, I followed 20 #celebrities no one followed back. I then unfollowed them (petty, I know but its annoying talking to yourself) then , my colleague at the time now a friend @ibimensah told me a different side of twitter she said to follow real peeps, people you know and funny Nigerians in general and that’s how I became a #tweet lover. 

Unlike #facebook twitter peeps are blunt, frank, lewd and plain crazy sometimes but on twitter you get to be able to say I know this person a little bit.

So this is a shout out to the fantastic folks I have formed ties with on twitter and a little description of their persona in my opinion:

@allyotowo, is an independent woman, works hard and believes in the good, has knowledge about politics and is not afraid to speak her mind, a passionate woman who despite the modern times still loves God.

@otookon is a ladies lady, a very brilliant mind, she rambles and weaves words and her knowledge of the word of God makes her a virtuous woman...

@ibimensah, sassy, fun, spicy , a blogger and an apt student of English language, is a beauty to behold and a Pandora box, she’s a typical #Gemini ( you must know what that means) despite all this she never fails to go down on her knees and acknowledge her maker.

@chicasa, you I have never met but twitter joined us, you seem like a lawyer and someone with a clear vision of your life, you’re a career woman and Ur focused and a good catholic.

@babybrunoangel, you’re a spokeswoman, you come on twitter and my TL is crowded, I know you think Yankee is not influencing you but think again...

@obizille, #futmx gives me a bias on you but on twitter your an easy going Lagos corporate hustler, who always speaks his mind and is always open to new possibilities

@tojubiko, I know you too well to say my tweet opinion but on twitter you’re a blogger and a pusher (u push blogs) Ur a fun guy on twitter...

@badaTunde, 5years in #Futmx we never said hi to each other but through twitter I can now call you a friend , today is your birthday , so happy birthday, knock em dead !( you know who I mean )  your as ur bio , a corporate hustler, fun lover , and Lagos boy, in the end your young and adventurous, open minded but shy, you’re a ladies’ man on twitter and I’m not sure you really are outside tweet world, either ways your my man..(No sachet henny, courier me a bottle)

@lagoshunter, I only know you from your bio, your mr.knowledge, you know a little of every though I question some of your tweets, I miss your presence on twitter because of Lent, a player that knows his God is a good man.

@WF_SIMONSEEZ you are a team ribadu guy, now that the elections are almost over, I wonder  what you would tweet about, you’re  a conservative tweet man , I know it’s because your mad in love with @engee but either ways you have a good head on our shoulder..

@tbzi, you an Aries to the core, dominating and sure of what you want on twitter you portray yourself as lecherous but I doubt you have your way with the ladies... (#nohomo) I mean you seem like a guy who would want to be with a steady gal.

@Kobikes, you I can’t tell who you are, you breeze in and out of twitter but I know there something to you, but from what I gather @tbzi is one of your closest friends.

these are the peeps I tweet with, I apologize to those I didn’t mention but you must understand why :(, anyway, I wrote this post cause in recent times people complain that I’m always pressing my bb during conversations not all just some that i dont think need full attention, those people don’t have the kind of friends I have on twitter because if you did you would be pressing buttons too, this applies to the bb chat, it’s not every time your boyfriend or girlfriend, or your spouse is online that they are trying to cheat.

Sometimes they just want to enter a place where they can be heard... that’s what twitter is to me... #aplacetobeheard....

Stay true to any hobby that gives you joy cause I am staying true to mine. i am twitting away.

fantasy/reality.........

by definition a Fantasy is ;

1. The creative imagination; unrestrained fancy. 
2. Something, such as an invention, that is a creation of the fancy.
3. A capricious or fantastic idea; a conceit.Fiction characterized by highly fanciful or supernatural elements. I.e An example of such fiction.
4. An imagined event or sequence of mental images, such as a daydream, usually fulfilling a wish or psychological need.

and reality is :

1. The quality or state of being actual or true.
2. One, such as a person, an entity, or an event, that is actual: "the weight of history and political realities" (Benno C. Schmidt, Jr.).
3. The totality of all things possessing actuality, existence, or essence.
4. That which exists objectively and in fact: Your observations do not seem to be about reality.

all these are from answers.com. the fact is do these answers satisfy me?  what do you call something real but its difficult to attain? 

a goal?

let me speak in love terms * a cleaner having a crush on the hottest guy in the work place, it seems far fetched but the heart wants what it wants.. so is this a fantasy? if hes not into class and all she may just get her man so i need a word to define this...............

a graduate out of school , going from place to place looking for a job is jobless so thats reality but a woman who has miscarried lots of children should she be called barren ?? or is the idea of her having a child a fantasy?



words do us no justice and fantasy and reality are based on our view to life. so today i sit on my desk and fantasize about driving a Porsche, i cant drive by the way but im going to  learn pretty soon, like tomorrow,  i dont want reality telling me to face facts so im sitting in my hot mini, with my seat belt on and i am driving away, dont wait up im going to be home late.
