SEPARATE?

There are various reasons to separate and sometimes it’s in our everyday friendships, some other times in our work environment, Sometimes from our families . 

Is any form of separation really legal? Does the court of law help to severe the emotional bonds? Does a divorce end a marriage? Does quitting the job erase the experience? Does moving from the outskirts to the city make you a socialite? (Or a New Yorker? I love Carrie Bradshaw?)

Does breaking up make the feelings disappear? Separation involving human emotions to me is never legal because it occurs in the mind and like a good friend of mine says " no man can be arrested for his thoughts" so  documentation , court injunctions, taking off are actions to assist the process but when we truly separate from someone or anything it occurs first in our minds. 

Does making the separation legal help?

Does telling him or her that is over help?

Does moving out help?

Does taking the new job help?

Do you lie at night sometimes to think of the one who got a way?

 Do you wish you told your boss to suck it up? 

Do you wish you never lived in that neighborhood because the other day the office assistant walked up to you to discuss your mama?

 Is separation ever easy? No! Is it the solution? Sometimes. Should you make it legal? It depends.

Legal or not? You must first separate from your mind! Stop the ex thoughts (it wouldn't have worked and if it’s true love why is she or he moving on and your there thinking about them?), your boss misses you (yeah, right!  You’re the best staff but wait a second, how many times has he offered you your job back or persuaded you with a raise or called to check up on you? (The company is growing without you) get up and separate! Let go of the past forge into your future, let sleeping dogs lie.

 This valentine: if you don’t have a date, date yourself! Please don’t dwindle about the past but  prepare for your future, alone or not?the Future is only for the living. Let’s spy into our future, though it’s unsure, I would rather have that. i miss the past but its past, and i will miss you guys that im leaving behind but its time to separate, to let go and move on, its time!
